I started a portrait painting class at Chester Springs Studio and thought it was finally time I start posting some work instead of reading about Paris and Lindsay.
The first painting and its totally unnecessary detail shot are from the first of a three session sitting. I am currently working in imprimatura and will start building with color in the next two sessions. This class has been great, my teacher is Martin Pieczonka if you care to google him, he is very good.
The second painting is a portrait of my father.
Thanks for looking! I'll have more soon.

"Painting is very easy when you don't know how, but very difficult when you do." -Edgar Degas
I'm so proud of you :*
Talent is nothing without dedication to it
Lets be honest it won't completely replace Paris and Lindsay.
Would you ever have guessed that imprimatura would be useful, or even fun? I'm anxious to see the finished portrait....great start!
if ever beauty met repressed rage and they gracefully made babies- this is the magic of pamela c jones. the world is a far better place with her, and bestest with her paintings. more please, and one for my home. jqh
